Hope springs eternal

We all have our own little wars and storms, those times when things go wrong for us. We never lose hope in the midst of these difficulties, and hope delivers us often to more peaceful times. We live in stormy times. Things are against us a bit. Jesus says do not be frightened for the end is not so soon. Hope lifts human horizons. It springs eternal in the heart of those who, as well as doing Christian good works, dare to love God and dare to share that contemplative love with the world. Can I pray for the gift of hope today, that hope will lift my heart and the heart of my community?
