Nag away

Those who have need of God in life cry out to him all the time. Petitionary prayer can sound like nagging. Nag away! St John speaks of the need for us to join together to support each other in keeping our faith and our search for truth alive in difficult times. Even when things are going well, do I still petition heaven for things like an increase in faith or a broadening of my love for a difficult person? All petitionary prayer strengthens family and parish life.
