Steelo pad redemption

Teaching children to wash billies after a night camping is quite interesting, as they don’t really know what dirt is both inside and outside of the billy. That’s why adults supervise them – they know what dirt is when they see it! Funny, that!

We are asked in the Gospel to look deeper into our lives and remember that ‘cleaning billies’ is not the easiest of jobs. However, important issues like racism, injustice, poverty and violence need a people of vision to remove ‘dirt’ from our ‘billies’.
