Mysterious love

The mystery of God underpins everything. We don’t always understand why certain things happen in our lives. But we rest in faith that God loves us. One day in heaven it will all make sense. The disciples didn’t understand why Jesus said that he would be given over to the power of men. We can ponder, like the disciples, why did God will for Jesus to die so painfully on the cross for our redemption? We give thanks for this great love that goes beyond our human understanding.
