Trust and humility

Jesus is full of trust and humility. Jesus places great trust in the apostles to carry on with the work he had begun. Then he asks the apostles to be like him, and to come before people in great humility, with nothing but the message of God’s kingdom, and with God’s authority to heal. As we try to be Jesus’ disciples, we can think about what work Jesus has entrusted to us, and how we can carry it out humbly.
