Trust in God

All the readings invite us to reflect on the tender heart of God. In the Psalm, Yahweh is praised for his tenderness, and being full of faithful love. In Isaiah, Yahweh is rich in forgiveness. In Paul, the only life worth living is a life in Christ and Paul longs to be in heaven. Finally, in Matthew, with the parable of the vineyard, the workers are all paid the same even though they worked different hours. Here God is both just and generous. So let us trust in God with all our hearts.
