Growing pains

Paul tells the people of Corinth his concerns. You can’t go around saying things about people that put them down. You can’t make yourself more important than others. You can’t talk about the kingdom as if you invented it. These same human weaknesses happen today. Paul continues to guide them by his example. Look, I am a servant of God and I am treated, even now, as the dregs of the world. To follow Christ is to lose our sense of self-importance. It’s not easy for any of us.
