Be trustworthy

Paul writes like a lawyer, fine tuning his points. Paul forgives the people of Corinth for speaking ill of him. That doesn’t bother me, says Paul. What matters is that Paul remains a trustworthy servant of God. Paul preached the word of God in Corinth. Paul is now happy for God to judge him on this. The same is true for us. Try and be a good, trustworthy servant of God. Paul advises that we should neither worry about what other people say, nor be too harsh on ourselves. Leave the judging for God.
