1 Corinthians 2:10-16; Psalm 145; Luke 4:31-37

Jesus is patient

At a synagogue in Capernaum Jesus speaks with authority, and delivers s a man from an unclean devil. The devil says Jesus is the Holy One of God. People are amazed Jesus could command evil spirits by the power of his voice. They seem to ignore what the devil said. It was not the right time. As humans, we need time to take in the truth. Thank you for being patient with us, Jesus, as we absorb your holy truth that you are the Son of God.
