My whole self

Heart, soul and mind are parallel terms for the whole of human existence. Each signifies the whole self, living each day, orientated towards God. Love for God is a life of actions lived for God as revealed in the words and action of Jesus. And love of God is entwined with “love your neighbour as yourself”. It is not occasional loving acts but a whole societal vision shown in practical acts of establishing God’s justice through feeding the poor, housing the homeless and so on.
