God lovingly forgives me

Micah pleads with God, “What God can compare with you? You promised to look after us. Tread down our faults and sins to the bottom of the sea”! Perhaps the greatest sign that someone loves us is when they forgive us, unreservedly – when we hear those words, “I forgive you”! Of course, they are the words we hear from Jesus in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, the occasion of God’s great loving forgiveness. Is it time to hear those words again?
