Micah 2:1-5; Psalm 13; Matthew 12:14-21

A gentle but definite perseverance

Micah paints a full and rather grim picture of the person – and people – whose life seems to be one of plotting evil. The Lord is NOT happy and warns that the same evil will be their heritage! Jesus is faced with the antipathy of the Pharisees, but quietly continues his teaching and healing. He is the model of persevering in doing good and urges us to adopt that same attitude. What resolutions can I make today in emphasising that attitude?
