We sat and wept

When it seemed that things were a total disaster for Jerusalem, it just got worse. There was nothing left to do but to lament in exile. As I sit at home in ‘elderly isolation’, with no Masses or public gatherings allowed, and so much in society seeming like the abandonment of all moral laws, what form will my lamenting take? How do I call out to Jesus to heal me, to heal our world, just as the leper did, in faith?
