Be not afraid

There is so much that can cause us to fear – climate change, pandemics, laws that ignore moral values, personal tragedies and much more. Jesus assures us that whatever happens in this world, God is protecting our soul for eternity: “you are worth more than hundreds of sparrows”. We only need fear the one who can destroy the soul, and that cannot happen to us if we are willing to declare our self for Jesus in the presence of other people. “Praise the Lord, for he has delivered the soul of the needy”.
