Immaculate Heart of Mary (M)

2 Chronicles 24:17-25; Ps.88; Matthew 11:25-30

Don’t worry

Jesus reassures us that our heavenly father knows all our needs. Our worrying won’t change anything – we need to pray and trust, to set our hearts on the kingdom and on living righteously. This can be a challenge when everything around us is falling apart. We used to have a poster at home that read ‘Faith isn’t faith until it’s all you’re hanging on to’. On this feast of Mary, it’s a good time to ask our blessed mother to help us trust the promises of God, just as she did.
