What is true?

Information comes to us from many and varied sources – how can we know what to trust and what is ‘fake news’? Do I check my sources? Today, the elders believed their instructions came from the king, but were, in fact, not from him. The result was an unjust killing. Jesus tells us that if we are treated unjustly, we should “turn the other cheek”. This does not mean allowing abuse or criminal actions to go unreported. In what circumstances is it appropriate that I “turn the other cheek”?
