BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST

Deuteronomy 8:2-3, 14-16; Ps.147:12-15, 19-20;
1 Corinthians 10:16-17; John 6:51-58

Do not forget …

It can be easy, over time, to take our reception of communion for granted, to be distracted from, rather than attentive to, the One we receive. Many need daily medication as protection from a variety of medical conditions. We understand that the tiny pill once or twice a day can make a significant difference to our quality of life. How much more important is our regular reception of the “bread of life” for our spiritual health? Help me, Lord, to appreciate your presence and to always thank you for your life in me.
