Paul gives Timothy “a saying you can rely on … he is always faithful”. Jesus extracts from the myriad of Jewish laws and regulations the most important: “love the Lord your God … and your neighbour as yourself”. Many find it helpful to have a special Bible verse or prayer that they turn to, to help through trials or to encourage and uplift. Have you found your ‘special saying’ yet?
