What our lives say
What do people see when they look at me? Would they see me as someone filled with hope? Would they ask the reason for it? And if they attacked me for being a follower of Jesus, could I respond with courtesy and respect – or would I aggressively assert my rights to believe in who and what I like? The reason for our hope is Jesus, because he has promised we will not be alone to cope in this world; the basis for our response to those who challenge us is love. Ultimately, how we live is the evidence for what we believe.
