Our Martyr

Love can show itself in many ways. The Holy Spirit guides us to notice sanctity and love in unexpected places. In St Peter Chanel’s case it was his country parish, the schoolroom, the high seas and an isolated Pacific Island. How blessed we are to have such a gentle, patient, generous and faithful man as our protomartyr and patron. St Peter Chanel, pray for us.
