Meaning

To understand meaning is to understand why. Purpose can make some sense of an apparent jumble. God so loved the world – thus we find the meaning behind Jesus’ life and ministry. If we want to understand love we can now look to the whole trajectory of Jesus’ life. Julian of Norwich helps us to understand what we see: “Would you like to know the Lord’s meaning in this thing? Know it well: Love was his meaning”.
