Spiritual consolation

Once again Jesus appears after his Resurrection. Once again the disciples fail to recognise him at first. But when they do recognise him their alarm and fright turns into a great joy. True recognition of the Lord is usually accompanied by joy. Such joy is called spiritual consolation. Let’s recall some moments of spiritual consolation in our own life story. Gratitude.
