Being an apostle

Is it any wonder that Mary of Magdala has been called the apostle to the apostles? Yet at the moment of her desolation and grief and weeping, the Lord takes the initiative and calls her by name. He leads her to recognise him and to Easter joy. She was blessed in seeing him and went on to share what she had discovered.
