Daniel 13; Psalm 23; John 8:1-11

Comfort indeed

Even when the situation looked bleak and a judgement had been made God’s justice and wisdom shone through Daniel and the life of Susannah, an innocent woman, was spared. Even in our darkest times, our God is like a shepherd who knows his sheep intimately and cares deeply for their well-being. He provides for us in all ways. Let us today read this familiar and beautiful psalm slowly and thoughtfully and let it bring us comfort. The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want.
