What goes around comes around

Actions have consequences. Whether we act with integrity and justice or with an agenda designed to deal with our fears and jealousies, there will be a corresponding outcome with a corresponding ripple effect. The choice is ours. Lent is the time for us to pause and examine our motivation for our actions, the attitudes we hold and the drive that fuels us. What kind of fruit do we produce as people of the kingdom of God? Merciful God, open our hearts to your love and may our acts of penance bring us your forgiveness.
