Like a child!

There’s a big difference between being a child and being like a child! Jesus wants us to copy the trust little ones show in their relationship to those who care for them. A child depends on the love of the parent and instinctively expects to be safe and cared for. That is how we should relate to God. We are loved and wanted for ourselves and have nothing to fear. There is only one thing our Parent-God wants to teach us: to love. From love comes respect, joy, faithfulness, tenderness, compassion.
