Prayer!

As Mark’s gospel unfolds, the “little faith” and “slowness to understand” of the disciples, concerns Jesus more and more. Only with prayer and humility would the truth dawn on them, that redemption comes through suffering.

Lord, grant me the discipline required for prayer, and the humility required for true service. Make me strong in faith that I might walk with you and be a healing presence.
