Love and hope!

Many have been encouraged and comforted by St Paul’s reassuring words from today’s second reading: …no eye has seen nor ear heard…all that God has prepared for those who love him. Holding that belief, that hope, can make a huge difference to how a person approaches critical life moments. Knowing that the best is yet to come can help me use the present, however disappointing or difficult, to make loving a priority in thought, word and action. The words of Jesus from the cross can be my prayer every day: Father, into your hands I commend my spirit.
