Hidden growth

There are many examples of living hope in our world. Hope shows in those who see something beyond themselves: parents hope for their children; youth dream about their future; teachers see potential in students... Hope has life-giving qualities. God plants the seed of the divine in each of us, knowing our potential. It grows in me, the soil – perhaps in religious practices, but also as I grow in appreciating Beauty, Goodness and Truth. Progress might seem slow, but fruit comes in God’s time. Let us pray to be patient contemplatives.
