Where light falls...

When God speaks to us in scripture or in life situations, we need to pay attention to what and how we listen because we are accountable. The more we think and ponder, like Mary, the better we understand. The less we think about the word we receive then we may lose what we have. When we listen with openness, God gives more. What use is a light that does not shine in darkness? We Christians are to receive light and be light-bearers. The insight and wisdom we receive from the word is for sharing. Spirit, help me listen well today.
