See for yourself

There are various English translations for John the Baptist’s way of looking at Jesus – all describe a certain quality of looking. When two of John’s disciples saw how he looked at Jesus and spoke about him their interest was aroused. They followed Jesus and spent time with him. Later, one of them, Andrew, invited his brother, Simon Peter, to come and see for himself. And Jesus “looked hard” at him... Do I let Jesus gaze at me, and I gaze at him? Do I ever share with others, especially family members, my experience of meeting Jesus?
