God loves us madly!

Repeatedly the Gospel challenges us to put our love for God first in our lives. But do we ever think of what God will do to show us just how much he loves us? Imagine abandoning ninety-nine sheep, leaving them to wander here, there and everywhere all on their own, just to look for one that is lost! There is something more than a little mad in such a way of acting! Someone truly and deeply in love might do something so ‘over-the-top’. And that is how God loves you and me- madly and ‘over-the top’!
