Let go and let God

Simon Peter is a lot like many of us. So often we feel dejected because our best efforts do not seem to bear fruit. Sometimes it takes a crisis or what seems like a failure to remind us that we need to surrender ourselves, our work and our loved ones to the Lord! Like Simon we will then be surprised, amazed at what happens! Paul writes about “the strength that comes from his glorious power”. If we hand ourselves and our work over to God, we will experience this glorious power, often in ways we had not expected.
