The narrow door

Hebrews was written to Jewish Christians persecuted for belief in Jesus and frustrated that he had not returned. They had drooping hands and weak knees! What a great image of the discouragement in faith we sometimes feel. Suffering is never popular, yet anyone who succeeds in some area of skill knows the grind of daily disciplines. Recall those piano scales! Disciples are disciplined to learn and be educated. Ask God for the help you need to grow as an active disciple called to enter the kingdom of heaven by the narrow door.
