His love is everlasting

Joshua reminded the people of God’s goodness and provision by reviewing all the great things God had done for them in the past. Families share stories of whanau (family) and whakapapa (genealogy). Communities and society remember heroes and events of significance. We build our identity, belonging and destiny as we remember in community. Remembering encourages us to live well today and for the future. In Eucharist we review the great things God has done. When you need a reminder of God’s love, think of how God has blessed you in the past. Then put your story within the big salvation story and thank God for his unchanging faithfulness.
