The virtue of the Pharisees

Obedience to the law was the special virtue practised by the Scribes and Pharisees. Their righteousness offended Jesus and evoked his fury. Jesus came with a message that offered new life. We are no longer required to be slaves to the law. He invites us into the freedom of the sons and daughters of God. What does that mean for you? How do you live the Good News of the gospel?
