The Good News is close at hand

Jesus gave his apostles instructions when he sent them out to evangelise. No gold or silver, no haversack, no spare tunic. In other words, join the people you go to. Be one with them, not apart from them. And proclaim that the kingdom of God is close at hand. So, the Apostle Barnabas, the missionary companion of St Paul, joined the Greek community at Antioch and lived among them to bring them the Good News of salvation. Can you be the Good News that your friends and family see or hear today?
