God cares

Persecution began the day Stephen was buried. The apostles dispersed to preach the Good News elsewhere. Without the harassment, they might have stayed home in comfort, among their friends. It is the same for us. In times of deep trouble, emotional or physical, we find new strengths. Good friends appear. New directions are made clear. Looking back, we see God’s hand was guiding us to new pathways. We were consumed by our troubles and did not recognise him at the time. He is always with us and he cares.
