Amazement

The people were amazed to hear the Lord’s gracious words. Their amazement was part of their response. It was only the beginning but it was a beginning. We too can note when a word or phrase or verse of Scripture touches us in some way. We too can be amazed or at least attracted, consoled or awakened. Let us make the most of such moments. The Lord knows how to deal with each one of us personally.
