Knowing what God has done for her

Often biblical women are unnamed. Elizabeth is extraordinary. Not only is she named, we are told she is from the priestly tribe of Aaron. After she becomes pregnant, her lifelong relationship with God enables her to work out and know what God has done for her. Luke gives us access to her thoughts (1:25). In this, she is singular among Luke’s characters who have a religious experience. They don’t get it. They recount it inaccurately or without understanding (2:44; 3:15; 7:39; 11:17; 12:17; 12:19; 18:4). Am I aware of what God has done for me?
