Paying Attention

When Jesus wants to describe the kingdom of God, he often uses small, everyday examples – in this instance, a mustard seed or yeast. Language such as ‘kingdom of God’ doesn’t sit so easily with us these days but the message of the imagery remains totally valid: we need to pay attention to everything in our lives, not just the apparently significant and obvious, if we are to grow in understanding of how God is present in our world.
