THE HOLY GUARDIAN ANGELS

Exodus 23:20-23; Psalm 91; Matthew 18:1-5, 10

A Job Given in Heaven

As the Church teaches, we each have a personal angel. It’s perhaps fair to say that it may be a job given in heaven but not necessarily made in heaven as looking after many of us is, I suspect, boring, challenging and frustrating in varying degrees at various times! But today’s feast does remind us of God’s personal love for each one of us. And in so doing, it reminds us that we are never too insignificant or beyond notice in the sight of God.
