An undivided heart

Jesus challenges the Twelve Apostles for having a narrow perspective toward the work of God. God does not only work through his chosen Apostles. God is open and generous. The disciples were abusing their authority by trying to stifle the power of God. Rather than stifle the spirit, the Christian leader serves the community better by discerning the signs of God’s presence and encouraging those they serve. Commitment to the Gospel results in loving with an undivided heart.
