Acts 4:1-12; Ps 118; John 21:1-14

Jesus has risen from the dead

Jesus calls four fisherman, Peter, Andrew, James and John, to be his first disciples. Now, after so much anxiety and uncertainty, they need a break. As a fisherman Peter naturally says, “I am going fishing.” Jesus knows what Peter and his mates will do. So Jesus turns up to enjoy the time with them and set their minds at rest. At times have you felt the need for Jesus to set your mind at rest? Has Jesus come to comfort you? Is Jesus amazing?
