They brought the colt to Jesus
Already rejected and marked for arrest, Jesus entered Jerusalem accompanied by pilgrims who had journeyed with him from Galilee. “They brought the colt to Jesus and covered it with garments for him to ride on. Others spread leafy branches, crying out ‘Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’” “Our procession today is meant … to reflect the fact that, together, with Jesus, we are setting out on a pilgrimage along the high road that leads to the living God” (Benedict XVI).
Jesus, help me to accompany you in your passion which you suffered for me.
