Come, let us return to the Lord

The Lenten journey invites and challenges us to face into God’s call to ongoing conversion and repentance. Through his Prophet Hosea God says: “They will search for me in their misery,” so that, one day the people will repent, “Come, let’s return to the Lord,” they’ll say, …“he will heal us.” In the Gospel, Jesus teaches us the difference between prideful and humble prayer.
Come before the Lord, in humility and repentance saying, “God, be merciful to me a sinner.” Have complete confidence in God’s mercy, and know that you go home at rights with God
