Lord, how often must I forgive my brother or sister?

“Azariah stood in the heart of the fire and he began to pray … ‘And now we put our whole heart into following you, into … seeking your face … treat us gently, as you yourself are gentle and very merciful.’” Lord, Jesus, you are God of limitless mercy. You are merciful to everyone. The only block to your mercy to me is my unforgiving heart towards others.
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lord Jesus, send your Holy Spirit to melt the hardness of my heart that I may forgive others and know your mercy.
