Obedient to what God wants of me
King Saul lost favour with God because he was disobedient. Jesus asks us to be obedient to his commands. Am I obedient to the requirements of family, work and community? If so, it means that I’m prepared to help towards their smooth running. Obedience to my family, work and community requires that I am there and contribute. In a beehive, worker bees bring in the nectar and pollen. They do the work. Drones, I’m sorry to say, are the men, and are of very little use. Am I a worker or a drone?
