Men to inspire

St Peter Chanel and Br Marie Delorme-Nizier were chosen by the Lord, sent to the ends of the earth to be a light to the nations, to bear fruit that would last. In the face of hostility, downright meanness of spirit, spitefulness and hatred, they continued to love the people to whom they were sent. Each in their own way, they gave their lives in response to the Lord’s command, ‘Love one another.’ They inspire us.
