Gifts and journeys

One of Paul’s favourite metaphors for a church community is the human body, every part working in harmony with the rest. He also refers to the different gifts given us: they are varied but all have the same commitment to service. I’d like to extend that list with gratitude to the readers, the greeters, the people who arrange flowers and music, the ministers of the Eucharist and those who visit the sick. The church as the Body of Christ is multi-talented.
